Introduction |
Roxithromycin is a semi-synthetic 14 – member macrolide antibiotic. Its mechanism of action is similar to that of erythromycin, and its antibacterial effect in vivo is 1-4 times stronger than that of erythromycin, its antibacterial effect on gram-positive bacteria is slightly worse than that of erythromycin, its antibacterial effect on Legionella pneumophila is stronger than that of erythromycin, and its antibacterial effect on chlamydia pneumoniae, mycoplasma pneumoniae and ureaplasma urealyticum is similar to or slightly stronger than that of erythromycin. Roxithromycin is a semi-synthetic macrolide antibiotic. This product can penetrate bacterial cell membrane, by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis and achieve antibacterial action. |
Application |
Macrolide is a new generation of macrolide antibiotics. |
