Introduction Cefazoxime is a third generation cephalosporin, which has broad spectrum antibacterial effect and antibacterial spectrum is similar to cefotaxime. Stable against a broad spectrum of β-lactamases (including penicillinase and cephalosporin enzyme) produced by a variety of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
