Ampicillin also known as ampicillin, ampicillin. White crystal or powder. Melting point 199-202℃, slightly soluble in water and methanol. Almost insoluble in chloroform, ether, acetone and carbon tetrachloride. Odorless and bitter. Its sodium salts dissolve easily in water. |
Application |
Can semi-synthesize broad spectrum penicillin this product is not resistant to enzyme, stable to acid, low toxicity. It has inhibitory effect on gram-negative bacteria and positive bacteria, and has stronger effect on escherichia coli, influenzae, Salmonella, Shigella and some proteus bacteria. |
