Introduction |
Kanamycin is a protein biosynthesis inhibitor that binds to 30S ribosomes resulting in misinterpretation of the mRNA code.If the bacteria produce an enzyme that destroys kanamycin, they can become resistant strains.Kanamycin – resistant plasmids are often used in molecular cloning as selective or marker genes. |
Application |
Gram-negative bacteria such as escherichia coli, salmonella, pneumoniae, proteus, pasteurella has a strong antibacterial effect,on staphylococcus aureus, tuberculosis bacteria, mold is also effective. |
